Perfect! I made this for a dinner party and it was a big hit! I also made Naan to go with it. My guests could not stop dipping!

Excellent. Agree with prior reviewers - do not follow recipe with regard to salt! I probably used a total of 1/2 a teaspoon between the marinade and the sauce and it was plenty. So, salt to taste. I only used 1/4 of a jalapeno - I love spicy food, so next time I will use 1/2 to 3/4. I also thought the cinnamon taste was overpowering, so next time I will reduce by half. I did not grill/broil or skewer the chicken, I just sauteed it in some olive oil, it was fine. Otherwise, I followed the recipe to a T. You can't really expect 100% authentic flavor without a tandoor oven, etc., but it's pretty darn good anyway.

absolutely fantastic! If you double the sauce and only add 1 tsp of salt, it comes out perfectly. Better than in a restaurant and much cheaper. Highly recommended!

I have made this recipe three times for family gatherings and it is by far the best Chicken Tikka Masala recipe I have used. I marinated the chicken overnight. I think the flavor was even better and fuller than when I marinated it for an hour, but it was still good that way nonetheless. Sometimes I used watered-down canned tomato paste for the masala base, which worked, but taste it before adding the chicken. If it is a hint too sour, add a teaspoon of sugar at this stage. I found it gets rid of the sourness and the masala is perfect.

Had this dish at a dinner party last night. It was better than any Tikka Masala I've ever had in an Indian restaurant! My friend cut all the spices in half and it tasted perfect to me. In fact, I have mine marinating in the fridge right now!

This was absolutely amazing!! Way to impress my boyfriend! I am brand new at cooking, and I found this recipe to be simple and SO flavorful. I followed what others said, I did omit the salt all together, and I doubled the sauce recipe. I added cinnamon and coconut milk to the sauce to make it richer. Delish. Can't wait to make this again.

This was delicious but next time I will add more spice to kick it up a bit. Will also take the advice of others and double the sauce to make sure there is enough to go on the rice, but very good.

Definitely use much less salt, as most have suggested. Otherwise it was tasty. Think I might use half and half next time (or even whole milk) as the sauce was a bit thicker than I'd like.

AWESOME! We don't have any good Indian restaurants near us so this recipe is a keeper. After making it several times this is what I do: I don't add ANY salt to the marinade. I only add 1 teaspoon of salt to the sauce. I also marinade the chicken as long as I can. Just about everyone I have made it for has asked for the recipe!
