Honey Bourbon Glazed Turkey Breast
The honey and bourbon bring distinctive flavors to this dish.

- Turkey Breast, Average weight 3 lb, boneless
- 1/2 cup Bourbon
- 3 tbl Honey
- 1 cup Yellow Onion rough chopped
- 1 cup Orange Juice
- 3 tbl Garlic chopped
- 3 tbl Kosher Salt
- 1 tbl Black Pepper
- Glad Oven Bag
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large sauce pot, combine the honey, onion, orange juice and bourbon. Bring to boil over medium heat, carefully flambe to burn off alcohol. Turn heat off.
Rinse the turkey breast and pat it dry with paper towels.
Prep the turkey breast by rubbing it with kosher salt, black pepper and chopped garlic.
Brush turkey breast with the honey bourbon glaze.
Put into roasting bag and roast for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F when taken at the thickest part of the filet. Remove from oven.
To serve, bring glaze back to a boil. Carve slices of turkey on bias and brush with remainder of bourbon glaze.
